Rucking is tough on your gear, but cleaning your RUKVEST or RUKSAK doesn’t have to be.
How can I wash my RUK?
For a proper clean, give it a quick 5–10 minute soak in a tub with some mild detergent. We love using wetsuit wash because it’s antibacterial and super gentle.
How do I dry my RUK?
Once it’s washed, it’s time to dry. Your RUKVEST gets heavy when wet, so hang it somewhere sturdy like a balustrade or ladder, or lay it flat outside on a towel in the sun. Just skip the washing line—your gear will thank you!
If you’re short on time, a few antibacterial wipes go a long way for a quick refresh.
And remember: always make sure your RUK gear is completely dry before you pack it away.
