The bag is great and the ability to fine tune weights is genius. As a heavy guy, I was worried that it would be too light given I’ve lost more weight off my body recently than the 15kg that came with the bag, but as a newbie to rucking it’s definitely a tough workout with even 9kg in the bag plus water etc. so there’s plenty of space to grow in strength yet.
Absolutely thrilled with the vest. Brings new intensity to my twice daily dog walk. Can feel my core switching on and pleasantly surprised how my body is adapting to the additional weight. Considered 5kg and glad I ultimately went with 8kg.

I wasn't sure what to expect from the Ruksak backpack but it's so comfortable and easy to use. So far I've put 3 bricks in it (am slowly increasing the weight) and can already notice a difference in my strength and overall fitness. There are lots of adaptable straps, pockets and the indivdual sections that carry the bricks are brilliant as they distribute the weight evenly. Such a great product!

I am so pleased this vest exists. I had been waiting for over 2 years for a more affordable entry point into rucking, that wasn't filling my own regular backpack with red wood cut offs. I am loving how much I can do with my vest on, and am loving the challenge it adds to my regular exercise. It's so easy to slip on and off, nice to wear and something I am telling my friends about!
I thought I would fatigue using a weighted vest for the first time but this is just comfortable, easy to get on and off and not bulky or ugly. Great vest for women. .

I bought this vest online after a recommendation from a friend. It’s fantastic. I bought the 8kg vest, I walk every day with my dogs, at least 5 to 6 kms in the morning. I find the vest improves my posture and adds a bit of resistance to my everyday walk, which at nearly 52 years of age is no bad thing. It’s just become part of my morning routine. Love it!
I bought the 5 kg to start with and I’m so glad I’m 58 in menopause and it has 100% taken my fitness levels to the next level, I can feel my body working harder. I can feel it in my legs , everywhere, it’s very comfortable and easy to wear , it makes my hill walk so much hardest which I love I highly recommend

I've done a handful of walks now with my new Rukvest and I'm pretty impressed! It's extremely comfortable to wear on top of or under clothes/jackets. Can't speak for the longevity of it, as I've only had it a few weeks, but it seems very well made, and I'm looking forward to much rucking in my near future!

Absolutely love my Rukvest! After a workout I put it on and go for a walk and it’s the perfect way to get some low-impact cardio in. I have always struggled with weights vests being too big and/or awkward but the 8kg small is amazing! It moulds to my shape and just sits perfectly over my shoulders and back without causing any instability or imbalance. My husband ordered one the next day after I got mine as he was so impressed with it. This is a superior quality Australian made product - get one!
I am a 65kg, 51 year old female, I do cardio of running, walking, elliptical or rowing machine everyday at a minimum of 30 mins, I have for years. But never seem to get to the gym as much prefer working out outside or at home on my equipment. So as I’m getting older I get concerned about not doing so much strength training and my bones strength. I purchased the Small 8 kg RukVest, I did wonder if I should get the 5 but thought I’m fit so will get the 8kg. I’ve been using it for two weeks, only didn’t wear it one day. The first few days of wearing it, my body ached afterwards, not from pain but muscle soreness from a good workout. Now it’s gotten heaps better. So I know my muscles are getting a great workout and my fitness is improving more 😊 soooo happy I purchased the vest!
Having made the mistake of buying a vest online elsewhere I knew I'd wasted my money as soon as I unpacked theirs... But knowing all the benefits in wearing a weighted vest decided to Take 2 and ordered with RUKSAK.
Am so pleased I did! The most comfortable smooth. no scratchy stitching or straps in the way etc. Great fit and has helped me feel stronger wearing it even around the house as I do home duties etc. Did go a little heavier than I perhaps should've having never worn one before (I went the 8kg slim fit and am 60kgs and small/medium in broadness - perfect fit) - I would've been able to wear it for longer if I started with 5kg but I'm still loving mine and highly recommend!
Great weighted vest. I got the 8kg and when I got the box thought it would be too heavy. However due to the even weight distribution of the vest, once it's on, it did not feel heavy at all! Great for working the legs and building strength. Great addition to my workout which has always been cardio. Definitely recommend this vest. When I reached out to the team at Rucksack they were incredibly helpful. 🌟
