What the RUK?

Rucking is a form of exercise that involves moving while carrying a weighted backpack, known as a rucksack.

The origins are in military training, but it's gaining general popularity due to it being an easy exercise option that comes with a bunch of health benefits.

If you can walk, you can ruck.

And by either adjusting the weight you carry, the pace you walk, and/or the distance you travel, you can adapt rucking to suit any fitness level.

Combining cardio with strength training, rucking provides a workout that works your heart, while engaging your legs, back, arms and core muscles.

Regular rucking will improve cardiovascular conditioning, muscle strength, calorie burn, mental and sleep health and bone density.
